Paul Garland leads day-to-day operations at Legat Kingscott. He drives the strategic direction of the practice, and focuses on outstanding client service. Paul also works directly with clients, and oversees the efforts of architectural teams and support staff.
Over the last three years, Paul managed one of the largest K-12 education projects in Ohio: a 300,000 square foot expansion and renovation of Newark High School. He worked closely with the construction manager and school district officials to plan construction phasing and student traffic flow, enabling the existing buildings to remain safe and operational throughout the school year.
Garland has been a member of design teams for the firm’s higher education practice including Kent State University’s Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center, and for renovations at The Ohio State University, The Ohio State University Newark and Central Ohio Technical College.
